The University of Art & Design's annual graduate exhibition spans multiple buildings and outdoor spaces. They needed a wayfinding and environmental graphics system that could unify the experience while accommodating over 200 individual projects.
Our approach used a bold, high-contrast typographic system with oversized directional signage and color-coded pathways. Each venue received a large-scale typographic mural identifying the exhibition theme. We also designed a modular label system that students could customize for their own work.
The system was praised for its clarity and visual impact, helping visitors navigate the sprawling exhibition with ease. The university has adopted elements of the system for future events.
